My dinning room table has been once again taken over with the best little creations ever. ~history~ last Fall my good friend Stacy introduced us to a little piece of heaven called perler beads. All the kids would sit down and work on these little projects for hours... Im not kidding Hours! The best part was they were silent in their concentration:) So they lasted for a while and I picked them up and packed them away in a drawer. ~Fast forward to this last week~ One of my children pulled them out again and soon they all began working in silence :) :) :) I love these times. Not only were they quiet... they were not fighting.. and they were working together in creating a little thing they call "Baby McDonald's" They worked and worked to build up their materials( in the picture).... then they set up a drive up window where they took orders. I love this!
Every now and then a good game is created and the kids will go with it for days (mail... paper costumes....etc...) These are moments I treasure. You see there are less and less of them as they get older.... this is what Summer should be. Cross your fingers they can take off with this for the rest of the summer.... or at least another week! Maybe I will have to throw in a suggestion of a Burger King... DQ... Pizza Hut:) The possibilities are endless!
Hamburgers...chicken nuggets...french fries...sweet and sour..... ketchup... ice cream cones.... drinks....

So cute! I love those moments too. Busy kids with imagination who aren't fighting. It's a mother's dream!
