It was a sad night here on the Carlson farm :( We said good-bye to our 2 roosters. The kids all said their good-byes to Gavin and Henry.... I snapped a few pictures..... Kyler shed MANY tears. It is heart wrenching watching the kids getting emotional over their good-byes.... so much so that I could not sleep.

Henry.Kyler asks that they be taken care of on a farm.... with lots of food and water.... lots of room to run around.... and lots of new friends to be their family :) This is my wish too!

I'm sorry that you guess had to get rid of the two roosters. I hope you all recover from the loss quickly!!
How neat that your children are getting to even have chickens :O)
Ella looks so sad (and cute!) in that picture- just breaks my heart! I think it's great that you guys are raising chickens too! And it was a good decision to keep just hens :o)
